These terms apply to coaching services provided by AfterBurn Coaching.
Coaching services
Coaching is a reflective, collaborative process designed to support personal insight, clarity and development.
Coaching is not therapy, counselling, medical treatment, psychological assessment, or crisis support.
Clients experiencing significant mental health distress should seek support from a qualified healthcare professional.
Client responsibility
Clients remain responsible for their own decisions, actions and wellbeing during and following coaching sessions.
Coaching supports reflection and exploration but does not direct or prescribe outcomes.
Suitability of Coaching
Coaching is intended for personal reflection and development and may explore experiences, patterns of thinking, identity, and behaviour.
Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or manage mental health conditions.
If it becomes clear that a client would benefit from therapeutic, medical, or specialist support, the coach may recommend seeking appropriate professional help.
Clients remain responsible for seeking any such support where needed.
Confidentiality
Coaching conversations are treated as confidential.
Information will not be shared without client consent unless required by law or where there is a risk of serious harm to the client or others.
Coaching records
Brief coaching notes may be kept to support continuity of sessions. These are stored securely and retained in line with professional coaching practice.
Spark Individual Coaching – Cancellation Policy
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours notice.
Refunds apply as follows:

48 hours or more notice – full refund or reschedule

24–48 hours notice – 50% session fee charged

Less than 24 hours notice – full session fee charged
Exceptions may be made in genuine exceptional circumstances at the discretion of AfterBurn Coaching.
Ignite Group Programme – Cancellation Policy
Due to limited group places, the following cancellation policy applies:

10 working days or more before programme start – full refund
-
5–9 working days before programme start – 50% refund
-
3–4 working days before programme start – 25% refund
-
Less than 3 working days before programme start – no refund
Once the programme has started, refunds cannot be provided.
Ignite In-House (Organisational Delivery) - Cancellation Policy
Corporate bookings are confirmed through written agreements/statement of work.
Cancellation terms typically apply as follows:

30 days or more before programme start – no charge
-
15–29 days before programme start – 50% of programme fee
-
Less than 15 days before programme start – full programme fee payable
Alternative dates may be arranged by mutual agreement where possible.
Group coaching confidentiality
Participants in group coaching programmes are expected to respect the confidentiality of other group members.
Personal experiences shared within sessions should not be discussed outside the group.
Limitation of liability
AfterBurn Coaching cannot be held responsible for decisions made or actions taken by clients following coaching sessions.
Professional Insurance
AfterBurn Coaching holds appropriate professional indemnity and public liability insurance in relation to coaching services provided.
Details of insurance cover may be provided to organisations upon request.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, programme materials, frameworks, resources, and programme structures, is the intellectual property of AfterBurn Coaching unless otherwise stated.
